The lodges offer excellent facilities and stunning views, including a breathtaking vista of the Solway Firth and Scotland on clear days. The lodges feature jacuzzis, perfect for relaxing and unwinding after a day of exploring. The accommodations are outstanding, with cleanliness and meticulous attention to detail. Guests can enjoy the convenience of the location, which is close to beautiful walking trails and easily accessible to nearby attractions. The owners are friendly and welcoming, always ready to provide helpful recommendations. The lodges also offer added perks like spa passes and visits from their adorable dog, Hugo.
One small drawback is the distance to the spa facilities, which is around a 10-minute drive away.

The owners warmly greeted me upon arrival and showed me around the well-equipped lodge. The hot tub was a highlight, easy to use and in a sheltered area that provided a lovely ambiance. The location was ideal, with only a short drive to Keswick and Cockermouth, and a pleasant trip to the nearby spa. I also enjoyed the morning visits from Hugo, the adorable dog. I can't wait to return to this perfect getaway spot. Highly recommend!

Mind-blowing location with jaw-dropping views over the beautiful Solway Firth. The peaceful atmosphere and friendly hosts made us feel welcomed from the moment we arrived. The well-equipped, immaculate rooms had everything we needed, including complimentary toiletries and towels. The hot tub was a super addition and provided a truly enjoyable time of relaxation with our family, while sipping on a glass or two of wine. We can't speak highly enough of this accommodation and are already planning our return with our family from New Zealand. It was the perfect and most relaxing break we could have hoped for.

We had an amazing New Year's stay! The lodges were equipped with everything we needed, including a washer/dryer. The hot tub was incredible, and it was cleaned and checked daily. The location was perfect for exploring nearby towns like Keswick and Cockermouth. The best part was the inclusion of spa access at Armathwaite Hall, which we took advantage of every day. It was a great way to relax and unwind during our stay.
The lack of privacy due to the presence of builders during our stay. However, the owners were extremely considerate and upgraded us to a different lodge, which made up for it.

The chalet at Limestone Lodges was amazing! The room had everything we needed, like a fully-equipped kitchen, flat-screen TV, and even a washing machine. It felt like a home away from home.
Personally, I didn't enjoy the hot tub in the private bathroom. It just wasn't my thing, but I know others might love it.
